Here at Wheatlands Lodge we try to make your breakfast a little bit different by making as much of it as we can and buying the best produce available locally.
The bacon which is dry cured locally, is award winning along with the Cumberland sausage.
We use free range eggs and the Vegetarian black pudding is delicious made from oats, pearl barley, beetroot and spices.
The Smoked Salmon is from a lovely smokehouse on the shores of Loch Ewe on the west coast of Scotland. We used the salmon in our previous Guesthouse and it was so popular we had to use it here and it is fantastic, the best you will probably ever taste.
We make our own muesli, yoghurt, bread, jams and award winning marmalades .
We also have gluten free bread and sausages available.
We will happily cater for any dietary requirements , please let us know before you arrive.
